Meet Wendy

My makeup philosophy

Every face is unique and everyone’s makeup needs are different.  I love that makeup is a versatile and creative medium. I am inspired by the effect that wearing makeup has on people. And I am best at showing you how to use makeup to look like a more polished version of yourself.

My beginnings

Some of my earliest childhood memories include makeup. I would spend endless hours giving makeovers to my dolls faces using whatever makeup I could find in my box of tricks. Looking back now, maybe I was destined to end up here.

My background

When I started using makeup, most of what was available didn’t suit my skin tone. So I know firsthand how frustrating makeup shopping can be. This personal search sparked my initial desire for testing, discovering and differentiating makeup brands and products.

My education

After moving from Melbourne to Sydney, I decided to embrace a career change and make my passion my job. I attended The Art and Technology Makeup College in 2002, a year-long course that is well respected throughout the beauty industry. I was awarded a diploma. It was an exciting time and the start of a rewarding career.

My journey so far

I love meeting new people, working on their faces, hearing their stories and sharing my makeup knowledge and expertise. It’s always a buzz when I see my work featured in magazines, films and TV Commercials.  You can see a selection of my credits, my folio and read my makeup blog.  

I am currently based in Sydney and divide my time here and in Melbourne.
